How We work
Birthright Whanganui is dedicated to helping single carers overcome the many challenges they face while raising their children alone. Single parenthood is often a difficult journey, with many obstacles and challenges. Many carers struggle with limited finances, lack of affordable housing, and lack of support from friends and family. These challenges can lead to isolation, depression, and a sense of hopelessness. Often parents experience isolation and simply need someone to talk to and an avenue for making connections.
Do you feel like you want to talk? We can come to your home or meet you in the community. If you have a sensitive issue to discuss, you are welcome to come into our office. We want to make it easier for people to engage with us. Making a time to see us is simple - you can contact us by phone or text and we'll get right back to you.
We're always looking for new ways to bring great content to our groups and bring the groups to the people who want them.
